Fostering enterprise in marginalized communities, entrepreneurs have to be discovered, since most of them are fighting against the odds even without the risks of starting and managing a business.

The Sakhi Social Enterprise Network (SSEN) was born out of the realisation that merely financing people is no way to help them stand on their own feet. With the experience garnered by Swayam ShishkanPrayog (SSP) the parent organisation

SSEN’s approach is to ensure creating an enabling ecosystem for entrepreneurs supported with skills, training networks and business development support in addition to finance. SSEN seeks to create a new interpretation of entrepreneurship for women and youth in marginalized communities and equip socially minded women and youth entrepreneurs for wealth creation, develop their leadership skills and help them make a social impact.
